Marbig Professional 51072 is a roll of 250 clear pallet caps, each a 1700mm square of 20 micron film.

Four Marbig caps share the 1700mm size, and this one sits between the 17 micron and 25 micron versions. It is a sensible default for a warehouse that caps a steady stream of pallets and wants a little more film than the lightest cap without moving to the heaviest.

The cap is laid flat across the top of the load and falls over the upper edges. In ACCO words it protects products from water and dust. They also point out that because the film is clear, stock can be identified without taking the cap off. They also describe the caps as straightforward to apply.
