A padded corner with a window, so it is a quiet space one week and a shop the next
80cm x 80cm x 80cm. Maple-look laminate over plywood. Sage green upholstered padding. Window opening with a small table surface outside it. Softened pentagon side profile. Ages 3+. $650.00.
The window is what makes it two products. From inside it is an enclosed padded corner to sit in. From outside it is a serving hatch with a ledge - a shop, a cafe, a post office, a vet. The same piece of furniture runs a role-play corner all term and then goes back to being somewhere to sit.
Role play is where a lot of language work actually happens. Two children running a shop negotiate, count, ask and answer without an adult prompting any of it. A structure that looks like a shopfront gets that started faster than a table with a sign on it.
An 80cm cube fits a corner that is otherwise dead space, and it does not eat the middle of the room.
Padded inside, so children sit in it for long enough for the play to develop.

Two things to read before you buy
Anchor it to the wall. The supplier recommends a suitable fastening device to prevent tip-over, and so do we. No anchor kit is listed as supplied - we have asked.
This is a bulky item. Freight is quoted, not charged at the checkout band. Send us the address and we will price the delivery.
The padded area needs regular cleaning - the supplier says so, and a shopfront in an early years room earns that.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
