Thirty-nine centimetres of turtle, and nine blocks big enough to share
39cm x 35cm. Nine extra-large watercolour blocks. Clear lid. $38.30.
A standard watercolour set has blocks the size of a coin, and four children round a table wear them out in a fortnight. These are extra-large, on a palette the size of a placemat, and they are meant to be shared.
The size is the point. 39 x 35cm means several children can work off the same palette without elbowing each other, and the blocks last because the surface area is enormous. That is what "long-lasting even with frequent painting sessions" actually means in practice.
Nine highly pigmented colours. The reason cheap watercolours disappoint children is that the colour comes out weak and grey. Pigment load is what fixes that, and it is what the supplier is selling here.
The clear lid earns its place twice - it keeps the blocks clean between sessions, and being clear, you can see which palette is which without opening it.
Colour mixing is the real lesson. Nine blocks on a big open palette invites a child to make orange rather than pick it up.
What is not published
The nine colours are not listed, the block size is not given, and there is no word on refills. On a $38 palette, whether you can replace a used-up block matters. We have asked all three. No age rating either.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered.
