Powered Punching For A Metal Wire Spine

The GBC WireBind WB15E is an electric wire binding machine that punches up to 15 sheets per pass and binds up to 125 A4 or A5 sheets on 34 loop wire of up to 14mm.

Wire bound documents open flat and fold back on themselves, so they are the usual finish for calendars, cookbooks, instruction manuals and anything read on a desk or a lectern. The WB15E is the motorised partner to the WB15, taking the hand effort out of punching when a long job is on.

A fixed margin keeps the hole row in the same position through a whole run. ACCO describe the LED overload light as anti jam, and it signals when a stack should be split before punching. Punched waste drops into a clippings tray, spare wire can go in the storage compartment, and rubber feet stop it moving. ACCO list a 2 year warranty.

Electric. The WB15E punches with a motor, while the WB15 uses a hand operated double handle. Capacities are the same on both ACCO pages.
No. It punches for 34 loop wire only. Plastic combs use a different hole pattern and need a CombBind machine.
Any 34 loop wire up to 14mm. We stock GBC 34 loop wire in 6mm, 9.5mm, 12.5mm and 14mm, all within that range.
ACCO describe it as suiting moderate or frequent binding in one place and heavy use in another, so we have not given it a duty rating.
ACCO describe the punch as electric. They do not describe how the wire is closed, so check the manual supplied with the machine.
