Load a 100 Sheet Stack, Close the Lid, Walk Away

The Fellowes AutoMax 100M, 4629401, is an auto feed mini-cut shredder for a home office or small team: you drop up to 100 sheets into the top tray, close the lid and it feeds and shreds them on its own while you get on with something else.

Paper is cut into 4 x 10mm particles at security level P-4, which Fellowes say turns each A4 sheet into over 1000 pieces. For the odd urgent page there is a separate manual slot that takes 10 sheets at a time, and that slot also accepts staples, small paper clips and credit cards. Fellowes rate both figures on 70gsm paper.

The machine runs for up to 15 minutes continuously, then needs a 35 minute cool down per the manual, and Fellowes recommend no more than 1000 sheets a day for 1 to 3 users. Auto Reverse backs paper out if it jams, SilentShred keeps the noise down in shared spaces and Sleep Mode switches to standby when idle. A 23 litre pull-out bin holds at least 175 sheets by Fellowes count, a bin full light warns you, and casters make it easy to move. Warranty is 2 years on the machine and 7 years on the cutters.
