The Purple One, at Two Oh Two by Two Thirty
Purple is the second colour Fellowes publishes in the Crystals gel mousepad wrist support, at a 202mm by 230mm footprint, 15mm high, and 0.34kg on the desk.
A coloured gel rest gets bought for two reasons and both are sound. One is that somebody wants their desk to stop looking like every other desk on the floor. The other is that one desk needs its kit distinguished from the desk next to it, and a purple rest does that at a glance where a taped label rarely manages.
The published footprint, height and weight are the same for the purple as for the blue, and FIRA International Ltd is named against both. The gel is the same transparent gel, the surface is stain resistant and wipes clean with a damp cloth, and the Australian warranty runs one year.
Prefer the blue? It is at computer wrist rests. Mouse pads with and without a rest built in are at office mouse pads, full-desk surfaces at office desk mats, and screen height and angle at computer risers.
