A Loose Gel Cushion That Goes Where Your Wrist Does

Fellowes 9112301 is the black Crystals gel flex rest, a small free standing gel cushion that you slide under the wrist of your mouse hand, or move to wherever your hand settles on a trackpad, tablet or notebook.

Unlike a mouse pad with a built in cushion, the flex rest is not tied to a mat. That makes it handy with a mouse used straight on the desk, a gaming surface or a large desk mat you already like. Fellowes say the gel conforms to your wrist and spreads pressure points, and that the soothing gel adds comfort and support. A damp cloth takes care of cleaning, and Fellowes call the gel stain resistant.

Black is the low key Crystals colour, glossy but not bright. Fellowes data gives a footprint of about 124 x 87mm, matching our title, though their description quotes a slightly different approximate size. Weight is 0.17kg. FIRA International testing to EN ISO 9241-5 is stated by Fellowes, who also give a 5-year limited warranty.

FAQs

A gel mouse pad has the cushion fixed to a mat. The flex rest is only the cushion, so you can use it with your own mat, a bare desk or a large desk pad.
Fellowes dimension data gives about 124 x 87mm and roughly 20mm high, while their product description quotes approximately 122 x 88 x 18mm. Expect a palm sized cushion in that range.
It is glossy black gel. The blue Crystals flex rest is the transparent coloured option.
Yes, with a damp cloth. Fellowes also rate the black gel as stain resistant.
We make no medical claims. It is a comfort cushion; persistent pain is a question for a health professional.
