A Swing Out Wall Arm for Screens From 23 to 55 Inch

The Fellowes Full Motion TV Wall Mount 8043601 is for meeting rooms, reception areas and staff rooms where a screen has to come off the wall and turn towards whoever is watching: a double hinged arm that pulls out, pans and tilts, then folds back flat when it is not needed.

Fellowes rate it for screens from 23 to 55 inches and up to 35kg, with VESA patterns from 100 x 100 up to 400 x 400 including 300 x 200 and 400 x 300. They give the movement as plus or minus 90 degrees of pan, tilt from 2 degrees up to 12 degrees down, and 5 degrees of rotation either way for levelling a screen that sits slightly crooked. Cables run along the arm, and the screen detaches from the arm for quick removal.

The installation sheet says it is made for timber stud, solid concrete or brick walls, so plasterboard alone is not a suitable base, and Fellowes advise checking the joints every two months to make sure the screws have not loosened. The mount itself weighs 2.72kg and Fellowes AU list a 5-year limited warranty.

Check two things: the screen weighs 35kg or less and is between 23 and 55 inches, and the VESA hole pattern on its back is one of those Fellowes list, from 100 x 100 up to 400 x 400.
Not on plasterboard alone. The Fellowes instructions say it is for timber stud, solid concrete or brick walls, so on a stud wall the fixings must go into the studs.
Fellowes give plus or minus 90 degrees of pan, tilt from 2 degrees up to 12 degrees down, and 5 degrees of rotation each way to level the picture.
Fellowes advise checking the joints every two months to make sure no screws have loosened.
