A Metal Base Rotary Trimmer for Everyday Office Cutting
The Fellowes Proton A4 (5410201) is a 10 sheet, 320 mm rotary trimmer with a metal cutting base, built for frequent use in small and home offices with a straight SafeCut blade cartridge.
Proton is the working-office counterpart to the home-focused Neutron. It keeps the same simple straight cut but sits on a metal base that Fellowes rate for frequent use, at about 1.20 kg so it stays put on the desk while you slide the carriage. A paper clamp holds documents still and the printed cutting guides make standard sizes quick to set up.
The SafeCut cartridge exposes its blade only while trimming and lifts out without touching the edge, with storage in the base for a spare. Proton takes the same Fellowes accessories as the rest of the family: straight replacement blades (5411401), the creative wavy, perforated and fold pack (5411301) and A4 cutting strips (5411501). Proton has a 2 year warranty from Fellowes, and its manual, shared with Neutron and Electron, is downloadable from this listing.
