The Faber-Castell Wave Double Hole Sharpener with Catch sharpens both standard and jumbo pencils and keeps the shavings contained, ready for pencil cases, desks and classrooms.

One hole takes popular standard pencils and the larger hole takes jumbo pencils, so a single sharpener covers everyday graphite pencils as well as thick learner and colour pencils. The shavings collect in the translucent catch, which can be emptied over a bin to keep desks and classroom floors clean. Faber-Castell designs the Wave as a quality sharpener for simple, clean sharpening of wood-cased pencils.

Yes. Faber-Castell states the Wave suits all popular standard and jumbo pencils, including thick learner pencils such as the Faber-Castell Junior Triangular colour pencils.
Colour pencils have softer leads, so Faber-Castell notes they sharpen to a shorter and blunter point. Graphite pencils have harder leads and can be sharpened to a very thin point.
Sharpener blades become blunt over time, which leads to more tip breakages. Faber-Castell recommends replacing the sharpener now and then for the best results.
The shavings collect in the catch below the blades, which can be emptied over a bin whenever it fills.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
