Selective School and Scholarship Test Practice for Years 5-6

Excel Selective Schools and Scholarship Tests Years 5-6 prepares upper primary students for competitive entry exams with realistic practice in all four tested areas.

Updated for the 2026 Selective High School Placement Test, the book targets the NSW Selective High School Placement Test and ACER Scholarship Tests at Secondary Level 1. It holds over 400 questions and 16 full sample tests, with four tests each for Thinking Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, Reading and Writing, so every section of the exam gets attention.

Working under exam-style conditions makes the format and timing familiar, which can ease test-day nerves. Detailed answers and explanations turn mistakes into learning, and the exam strategy guidance helps students plan how to tackle each paper.
