Most classroom stools are for children. This one is built for whoever is running the room: a padded seat, a side handle to change height without getting up, and castors so you can roll between tables instead of carrying a chair.

150kg weight tested - the highest figure on any seat in this range, and the reason it works as a teacher's stool, a library stool or a staff seat as well as a student one.

The PVC seat wipes clean, which is what you want on a stool that moves between a paint table and a reading corner.

Castors are a choice, not a bonus. They make it mobile and they make it roll away when a child stands up. For a small child that is a reason to buy a fixed stool instead; for an adult it is the whole point.

There is a height contradiction in the supplier's own listing and we are not going to hide it. Our price list calls this the "40-54cm" stool. The supplier's product description says it adjusts from 48cm to 62cm, and their own product photograph is filed under the name "48-62cm high". Two of the three sources say 48-62cm, so that is the figure we would plan around - but we have asked them to confirm it in writing. If the exact height matters for your tables, ask us before you order.
