The Elizabeth Richards Rug Colours of Australia Square is a 4 x 3 metre classroom rug comprising 30 individual 52 x 52cm seating squares in five calming, earthy tones drawn from the Australian landscape -- Mallee, Mountain Gum, Snow Gum, Ocean and Coral -- with a cut pile polyester blend construction and non-slip latex backing.
The individual square format gives each child a defined personal space that reduces conflict during group sessions, supports engagement and helps teachers manage participation visually. The five-colour system lets you assign squares by group, reading level, row or activity type without needing any additional materials. The earthy palette is deliberately calm and neutral -- chosen to support focus rather than stimulate, which is particularly important during literacy and numeracy sessions at the front of the room.
The cut pile polyester blend surface is soil-resistant and can be vacuumed or wiped down between sessions. The non-slip latex backing keeps the rug flat and in position on smooth classroom floors. The rug arrives rolled in protective plastic packaging -- vacuum lightly after opening to remove any transit dust before first use.
Suits primary school classrooms, early childhood settings, school libraries, reading corners and any learning space that runs regular whole-class or small-group sessions where defining student positions supports better classroom management.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
