Flexible seating creates one problem it does not solve: a child on a beanbag, a cushion or the floor has nowhere flat to write. The lap desk is the answer - a rigid plastic surface that sits over the legs and turns any seat into a workstation.

These are not designed to take bodyweight. The supplier says so explicitly, and we are repeating it in bold rather than burying it: do not let children sit or stand on them. They are a writing surface, not a stool.

580 x 300mm of top. That is A4 plus a pencil case, or an open exercise book with room for a hand. The 200mm height clears most children's legs on a low seat.

They stack when not in use, and at $11.63 a desk a set of four covers a reading corner. Sold only in packs of four - this is Pack 1. The supplier makes a second colour pack that we do not currently list; ask us if you want it.

It has a flat base 580 x 300mm and 200mm of height, so it bridges the legs rather than balancing on them. On a beanbag it works better with the child sitting fairly upright.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements

Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible.
