Kylie the Koala, a weighted companion for calm
The Elizabeth Richards Weighted Koala, supplier code ERWSK and known as Kylie the Koala, is a 1.8kg soft koala measuring 43cm from head to paw, made to give comforting pressure.
Elizabeth Richards describes the koala as a soft, snuggly sensory companion designed to support emotional regulation. The supplier says the 1.8kg weight gives gentle, soothing feedback that helps calm anxious minds and promote focus, at home, in the classroom or on the go. The outer is 100% polyester and the filling is polyester and glass beads.
The supplier suggests using it during transitions or rest time, in new or overwhelming environments, and in sensory breaks, mindfulness corners or quiet spaces. Each koala comes in a reusable calico drawstring bag for easy storage and transport, and the soft fur gives a soothing tactile experience.
Hand wash with mild detergent under 30°C, rinse cold and do not tumble dry. Find more weighted and calming resources, sensory toys, early learning and sensory supplies and the Elizabeth Richards range.
