Giant bulb pipettes for watercolour, dye and ink play
Educational Colours Giant Bulb Pipettes Pack of 6, supplier code PP6, is a pack of 6 giant pipettes that Educational Colours recommends for use with watercolours, dyes and inks.
Educational Colours lists each giant pipette at 23cm long, with a volume of approximately 30ml. The supplier explains that using a pipette helps build fine motor skills needed for cutting and writing, and develops hand eye coordination. Squeezing the bulb trains children to use the three finger grip that is used to hold and control a pencil.
Drawing up and releasing colour is a hands on way to practise grip and control while making art. Students can drip watercolour onto paper towel or coffee filters, transfer dye between containers or add ink to wet paper and watch it spread. The pack holds 6 pipettes.
Pair the pipettes with liquid watercolours and a palette tray. Giant pipettes suit sensory tables as well as art lessons in early learning rooms. Browse watercolour paints, painting accessories, the Educational Colours range and early learning and sensory resources.
