A compact 5m tape measure for desk, store and parcel checks
The Durus Measuring Tape 5m, Hamelin code 100852036, is a yellow and black tape measure, its case marked 5m/16ft, that Hamelin Brands lists with a flexible magnetic hook and markings in both centimetres and inches.
Hamelin Brands states that the magnetic hook allows measuring from the 0-point in any position, and lists two stop-and-go locking functions plus one forward brake. Hamelin also describes a non-slip surface for a better grip and says it comes with a belt and wrist strap. On Hamelin's table the retail unit measures 8.2cm x 7.7cm x 4.2cm and weighs 210g.
At 5m it handles desk, doorway and carton measurements, which makes it a practical drawer tool for facilities staff, office managers checking furniture before it is ordered and stores staff sizing parcels. Hamelin's dual centimetre and inch markings help when a supplier quotes in imperial.
For longer runs, Hamelin lists the Durus Measuring Tape 10m in the same range. Browse the Durus range, measure up shipping cartons, and keep packing tapes on hand at the dispatch bench.
