Box of 6 Derwent Inktense Blocks in Thistle
Derwent Inktense Block Thistle, number 0720, a soft block whose colour intensifies with water and dries permanently.
Colour number 0720, Thistle, belongs to the Derwent Inktense Blocks range, which runs to 72 colours. Derwent's description centres on three properties: the colour is highly pigmented, it is water-soluble, and it dries permanently. Water makes the colour more intense, the dried colour keeps its vibrancy, and earlier layers are not dissolved when you work over them.
Our code is AA2302051 and Derwent's is 2302051; Thistle carries colour number 0720. Range ratings from Derwent: colour intensity 5, layering 5, blendable 3, strength 3. Mega Office Supplies sells this colour as a box of 6. The block range is marked water-soluble in Derwent's table, which also lists fabric use.
Art and craft stock more broadly, including this block, is grouped under Art & Craft Supplies. You will find this listing in Watercolour Paints, which brings watercolour paints and water-soluble blocks into one collection. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
