Sea Blue from the Derwent Inktense Blocks range
Derwent Inktense Block Sea Blue, number 1200, a soft block whose colour intensifies with water and dries permanently.
Paper, silk, cotton, ceramic and wood are all named by Derwent as surfaces for Inktense, and this Sea Blue block (1200) uses the same water-soluble formulation as the rest of the block range. The colour can be used dry or mixed with water, which is when it becomes more intense. Once dry it is permanent, so the colour can be layered without dissolving what went down before.
Derwent lists Sea Blue under code 2300429, colour number 1200; our code is AA2300429. Derwent scores the block range 5 for layering, 5 for colour intensity and 3 for both strength and blendable. We sell it as a box of 6 blocks in the one colour. Range features printed by Derwent: soft texture, water-soluble, permanent once dry, 8mm core size.
Art & Craft Supplies groups our art and craft stock, from drawing media to painting materials, in one place. For watercolour paints and other water-soluble colour, see Watercolour Paints, where this block is also listed. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
