Mallard Green: Derwent Inktense Block number 1230
A box of 6 Derwent Inktense Blocks in Mallard Green, colour 1230, for ink-like colour used dry or with water.
Derwent formulates Inktense Blocks to give ink-like colour that can be worked dry or with water. This block is Mallard Green, colour number 1230. Adding water makes the pigment more intense, and once the colour has dried it is permanent, so you can work over the top without dissolving what is underneath. Derwent lists paper, fabric, ceramic and wood among the porous surfaces it can be applied to.
For purchase orders, use AA2302063 or the Derwent code 2302063, colour number 1230. Derwent rates the range 5 for colour intensity and 5 for layering, and 3 each for blendable and strength. It comes from us in a box of 6, all Mallard Green. In the range features, the blocks are marked water-soluble and permanent once dry, with a soft texture.
It is also listed in Art & Craft Supplies, our general collection for art and craft materials across the store. Derwent Inktense Blocks sit in our Watercolour Paints collection with the watercolour paints we stock. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
