Inktense Block Hooker's Green, ink-like colour that dries permanently

Water-soluble Derwent Inktense colour in Hooker's Green (1520), formulated so dried layers stay put when you work over them.

Hooker's Green 1520 comes from Derwent Inktense Blocks, a 72-colour range of water-soluble blocks. Colours keep their vibrancy after drying, giving ink-like effects. Derwent formulates the blocks to dry permanently, giving layering without dissolving colour that has already dried. The colour is highly pigmented and can be used dry or mixed with water, which is when it becomes even more intense. The core size is 8mm and the texture is soft.

Derwent lists Hooker's Green under code 2302068, colour number 1520; our code is AA2302068. It comes from us in a box of 6, all Hooker's Green. The block range is marked water-soluble in Derwent's table, which also lists fabric use. Derwent scores the block range 5 for layering, 5 for colour intensity and 3 for both strength and blendable.

For watercolour paints and other water-soluble colour, see Watercolour Paints, where this block is also listed. Art and craft stock more broadly, including this block, is grouped under Art & Craft Supplies. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
