Derwent Inktense Block in Dusky Pink, colour 0730

Dusky Pink, colour 0730, is a soft, water-soluble Derwent Inktense Block that dries permanently, sold here in a box of 6.

Water is where Inktense changes character: Derwent says the highly pigmented colour can be used dry or mixed with water, and becomes even more intense once wet. After drying it keeps its vibrancy, giving ink-like effects, and the colour is permanent, so later layers go over it without dissolving it. Dusky Pink is number 0730 in the Inktense Blocks list of 72 colours.

Our code AA2302052 and Derwent code 2302052 both identify Dusky Pink. The box holds 6 blocks. Derwent's table lists an 8mm core size, a soft texture and fabric use, with range ratings of 5 for layering and 3 for blending. Its colour line gives Dusky Pink a Blue Wool rating of 7.

We file Inktense Blocks with water-based colour in Watercolour Paints. Dusky Pink also appears in Art & Craft Supplies, our wider art and craft collection, for a combined order. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
