Water-soluble Derwent Inktense Block, colour Carmine Pink 0520

Water-soluble Derwent Inktense colour in Carmine Pink (0520), formulated so dried layers stay put when you work over them.

Carmine Pink 0520 comes from Derwent Inktense Blocks, a 72-colour range of water-soluble blocks. Once the colour has dried it is permanent, and you can work over the top of it without lifting the layer below. Derwent gives the block a soft texture and an 8mm core size. Derwent lists use on paper and on porous surfaces including ceramic, wood and fabric, naming silk and cotton. Use the block dry, or add water to make the colour more intense.

In the range features, the blocks are marked water-soluble and permanent once dry, with a soft texture. Derwent lists Carmine Pink under code 2302047, colour number 0520; our code is AA2302047. Derwent scores the block range 5 for layering, 5 for colour intensity and 3 for both strength and blendable. One unit is a box of 6 Carmine Pink blocks.

For watercolour paints and other water-soluble colour, see Watercolour Paints, where this block is also listed. It is also listed in Art & Craft Supplies, our general collection for art and craft materials across the store. Every colour in the range is grouped in Derwent Inktense Blocks.
