Coffee Bean from the 150-colour Derwent Chromaflow range

A single-colour box of Derwent Chromaflow: 6 pencils in Coffee Bean (2010), a smooth, powder-based coloured pencil.

This is Chromaflow Coffee Bean, Derwent colour 2010, one of 150 colours in the range. Derwent notes that Chromaflow can be erased, so highlights can be worked back into a drawing. Like the rest of the range, Coffee Bean is powder-based, with a 3.5mm core and a smooth laydown. The colours are highly pigmented, and Derwent points to black and mid-tone paper as surfaces where they stand out well.

Purchase orders can reference AA2306086 or the Derwent code 2306086. The box holds 6 pencils, all Coffee Bean. Derwent gives Coffee Bean a Blue Wool rating of 8, on a scale graded 0 to 8 where 8 is the highest rating. The specifications list the Derwent range ratings, including 5 for blendable and 4 for erasable.
