The Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencil in Light Violet combines the precision of a pencil with the expressive quality of watercolour. The soft, smooth 3.5mm water-soluble strip works wet or dry, letting you sketch with control and then blend with water to create subtle colour washes. Because the colour is not permanent once dry, you can re-wet and rework it as needed.
The hexagonal cedar wood barrel makes the pencil easy to grip and sharpen, while the highly pigmented core delivers consistent colour purity and light fastness. Ideal for mixed media, botanical illustration, journalling, and detailed painting work. Supplied as a box of 6 pencils in Light Violet (shade 26).
