Natural Tinted Charcoal with a chalky 4mm core

A box of 6 Derwent Tinted Charcoal pencils in Natural (TC20), each with a chalky, powder-based 4mm core in a round barrel.

Derwent Tinted Charcoal is a unique blend of charcoal with colour, and Natural is listed as tint TC20. The pencil has a round barrel and a chalky, powder-based 4mm core. Derwent says the range keeps the good points of charcoal pencils: the marks can be smudged and blended, there is control over the drawing and less mess, and colour comes with an element of charcoal blackness.

Ordering details: our code AA2301684, Derwent code 2301684, tint TC20. We sell Natural in a box of 6 pencils of the same tint. Derwent's range features table rates Tinted Charcoal 5 for blendable and 2 for colour intensity, and the Natural line carries a Blue Wool rating of 8.
