A quick-refresh IPS screen for desks that track moving data

Dahua's data sheet for the DHI-LM25-E241B lists a 24.5 inch IPS panel at 1920 x 1080 with a 240 Hz refresh rate, which suits tickers, live dashboards and fast scrolling documents on a busy trading or operations desk.

Dahua rates both inputs, DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, at 1920 x 1080 and 240 Hz, so the full rate does not depend on which port the computer uses. Dahua's sheet also gives MPRT 1 ms with OD 0.5 ms, 350 cd/m² typical brightness, 1000:1 contrast and 85% NTSC colour from an 8 bit panel.

Menu control runs through five buttons on Dahua's list, which also includes a status indicator light and an audio out port. Dahua also gives a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern for moving the screen onto an arm, and a tilt range of -5 to 20 degrees.

The E241B joins our wider Dahua monitors range, and the office monitors and DisplayPort cables collections cover a second screen or a spare cable whenever another workstation in the office is being set up or refreshed.

FAQs

Yes. Dahua's data sheet rates DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 each at 1920 x 1080 and 240 Hz, so either connection gives the full rate when the computer's graphics output sends it.
