QHD detail for dense spreadsheets and documents

Dahua's data sheet for the DHI-LM24-C301B lists a 23.8 inch IPS panel at 2560 x 1440, a resolution that puts a lot of spreadsheet rows and document text on screen at once.

Dahua rates the DisplayPort 1.2 input at 1440p 100 Hz and the HDMI 1.4 input at 1440p 75 Hz, so the full refresh rate needs a DisplayPort connection. Other figures from Dahua include an OD 5 ms response time, 300 cd/m² maximum brightness, a 1200:1 contrast ratio and an 85% NTSC colour gamut on an 8 bit panel.

An audio out port, listed by Dahua, lets headphones or powered speakers connect at the screen rather than at the computer. Dahua also lists a tilting base and a 75 x 75 mm VESA pattern, and names a wall mount as an optional accessory for desks that need the screen off the base.

Because Dahua's accessory list names an HDMI cable, our DisplayPort cables are worth a look for the 100 Hz connection, and our Dahua monitors range and wider office monitors collection hold the other Dahua sizes and designs.

FAQs

Not on its own. Dahua rates DisplayPort 1.2 at 1440p 100 Hz and HDMI 1.4 at 1440p 75 Hz, and the accessory list names an HDMI cable rather than a DisplayPort cable, so a DisplayPort lead is needed for 100 Hz.
Dahua's data sheet for the DHI-LM24-C301B lists an audio out port but no speakers, so connect headphones or powered speakers to that port for sound.
No. Dahua lists 1 x HDMI 1.4 and 1 x DP 1.2 as the inputs, with no VGA input.
Dahua's data sheet gives 75 x 75 mm VESA holes and treats a wall mount as optional, so budget for an arm or wall bracket if the base will not be used.
