An everyday monitor with built-in sound for open-plan offices

Dahua lists the DHI-LM24-B201S as a 23.8 inch IPS monitor at 1920 x 1080 with a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz and a pair of 1 W speakers, so calls and system sounds play without extra desk hardware.

Inputs are a VGA port and an HDMI port, according to Dahua's data sheet, which also gives a typical response time of 5 ms, 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 8 bit colour. Viewing angles are listed by Dahua at 178 degrees in each direction, useful when a colleague leans in to look at the screen.

The V-shaped stand and narrow bezel keep the B201S neat on a shared desk, and Dahua lists a 75 x 75 mm VESA pattern for anyone who prefers a wall mount or monitor arm with a matching plate. Dahua's standard accessories for this model: the base, a power adapter and an HDMI cable.
