Unwaxed white paper plates for masks, frames and models, 15cm
Zart's Unwaxed Round Paper Plates, code PA021, come 50 to a pack, each a plain white plate of 15cm diameter that Zart sells as a base for craft and construction.
Zart describes the plates as sturdy yet lightweight and says the unwaxed finish suits crayons, poster paint, powder paint, felt tips and sprays, giving good colour application and adhesion. The 15cm plate is the smallest of the three Zart plate sizes we stock, alongside the larger 18cm and 23cm plates in the same Zart range.
Zart suggests turning the plates into picture frames, masks, 3D models and textured collage pieces, with students cutting, shaping, layering and decorating them. A pack of 50 gives a class a plate each with spares left over for second attempts.
Larger sizes sit in paper plates, colour for decorating comes from craft paints and craft markers, and the full Zart range covers glue, brushes, paint sticks and collage materials for the same lesson.
