A nine-brush starter set for paint, glue and varnish
The Zart Art and Craft Brushes Assorted Pack of 9, supplier code BR405, is a multipurpose starter set from The Creative School Supply Company for the student, hobbyist, crafter and artist.
Each brush has a short varnished wooden handle and a silver aluminium ferrule. The supplier itemises the set as a Fine Hair Watercolour Round #6, a Foam Brush 2.5cm, a Wide Bristle Brush 3.25cm, a Hog Hair Bristle Round #10, Round Synthetic Taklon brushes in #4 and #10, and Flat Synthetic Taklon brushes in 6mm, 15mm and 25mm.
Each brush has its own job. The supplier suggests the watercolour round for watercolour, the foam brush for washes, Mod Podge and stencils, the wide bristle brush for gesso, varnish and glue, and the hog hair round for blocking in colour. The Taklon rounds and flats suit acrylic, watercolour, gouache and craft paint.
The set pairs with paint for each brush type. Add colour from craft paints or watercolour paints, browse more paint brushes and see the full Zart range for surfaces and palettes to go with the set.
