Clear Mini Hooks That Go Up Without Tools

One value pack of Command Mini Hooks 17006CLR-VP holds 18 clear mini hooks and 24 small clear strips, and 3M rates each hook to hold up to 225 g.

The hooks are clear plastic, so they suit places where a hook should not stand out: a calendar beside a desk, keys or a lanyard by the door, bunting or fairy lights on a classroom display. Each one fixes with a Command adhesive strip instead of nails, screws or a drill, and 3M calls them renter friendly, which helps in leased offices, school rooms and rentals where walls cannot be patched.

3M says the hooks hold strongly on painted walls, finished wood, glass, tile, metal and other smooth surfaces, then remove cleanly without holes, marks or sticky residue when the strip is stretched off as instructed. They are for indoor use, and 3M's instructions caution against wallpaper, textured surfaces, windows and framed pictures.

Keep a pack in the stationery cupboard for quick fixes and seasonal displays. For other sizes and styles browse our Command hooks, compare mounting tape and strips, or see the full Command range.

FAQs

One carded value pack holds 18 clear mini hooks and 24 small clear strips. It is a single retail pack, not a box of packs, so you receive 18 hooks in total.
3M rates each mini hook to hold up to 225 g. 3M's instructions also say not to hang valuable or irreplaceable items or framed pictures on these hooks.
3M lists painted walls, finished wood, glass, tile, metal and other smooth surfaces, and says the hooks are best on smooth surfaces. 3M's instructions caution against wallpaper, textured surfaces and windows, and against hanging items over beds. They are for indoor use in a temperature-controlled space.
3M says Command hooks remove cleanly without holes, marks or sticky residue, provided the instructions are followed. Hold the hook gently, never pull the strip towards you, and stretch the strip slowly along the wall at least 15 cm until it releases. On a freshly painted wall, 3M says to wait 7 days before applying.
Yes. 3M's instructions say the hooks can be reused with Command clear small replacement strips. The pack includes 24 strips for its 18 hooks, and 3M Australia does not publish a part number for the matching refill strips.
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol rather than household cleaners or water. Press the strip onto the wall firmly for 30 seconds, press the hook onto the strip for 30 seconds, then wait 1 hour before hanging anything on it.
