The Command Broom Gripper 17007 holds a broom or mop handle against the wall on a Command adhesive strip, with no nails, screws or drill.

3M lists a weight capacity of 1.8kg and a pack of 1 gripper and 2 large strips. You push the handle into the gripper to store it and pull it out when it is needed. 3M's dimension drawing shows the gripper at 7.9 x 4.7 x 8.5cm and notes it holds handles of 2cm to 2.5cm diameter. It suits laundries, kitchens, garages, mud rooms and cleaning cupboards.

3M lists painted walls, finished wood, glass, tile, metal and other smooth surfaces for the Command Broom Gripper. Command's Australian FAQ says Command products should not go on wallpaper, which can tear, or on brick, although they will stick to painted smooth cinder block.
Command's Australian FAQ recommends wiping the spot with isopropyl alcohol, because household and window cleaners can leave a film that weakens the bond. Methylated spirit is not recommended.
