Medium Strips for a Mid-Sized Frame on a Smooth Wall

Command Medium Picture Hanging Strips 17201 hang a mid-sized frame flat on a smooth indoor wall with interlocking white strips instead of nails, with 4 sets in each pack.

3M Australia lists the 17201 as 4 sets of medium strips holding up to 5kg, and 3M's choosing guide rates 4 sets at 5kg for frames up to 45 x 60cm. The pack in our photographs prints 4 sets holding up to 5.4kg. Each medium strip is 1.9cm wide and 7cm long, per 3M's guide.

The strips click together behind the frame, following the click, stick and press steps printed on the pack. Offices, rentals and classrooms can change a wall without filling nail holes afterwards, and 3M says the strips remove with no residue.

3M Australia's product page and choosing guide list 5kg for 4 sets of medium strips, while the pack in our photographs prints 5.4kg. Plan to the lower 5kg figure.
3M's guide uses 4 sets of medium strips for frames up to 45 x 60cm, and 2 sets for frames up to 27 x 43cm and 2.5kg.
