Indian Red Oxide for Brick, Barn and Earth Reds
Indian Red Oxide is a warm brick red brown for barns, brickwork, terracotta, rustic signs and earthy outback scenes.
On our swatch Indian Red Oxide is a brick red brown, warm and earthy, browner than the maroon of its label band. That band lists Rouge Indien Oxyde, Indischrot Oxid and Oxido Rojo Hindú with a Series 1 mark. Painters use earthy reds like this for brick walls, barns, outback landscapes, terracotta pots, rustic Americana pieces and warm shading under brighter reds.
Indian Red Oxide brings a ready earth red that sits comfortably beside greens and creams in country schemes. The 75ml tube is a practical stock size for repeated projects, and it packs easily into a carry box with other earth tones.
Pair Indian Red Oxide with greens and creams from acrylic paints, find timber and board surfaces in art and craft supplies, and pick a flat brush from craft paint brushes.
