Gold Oxide Warm Ochre for Autumn and Earth Designs
Gold Oxide is a warm burnt orange ochre for autumn leaves, pumpkins, rusty metal effects and glowing earth tones.
The brushed swatch shows Gold Oxide as a warm orange ochre, somewhere between pumpkin and rust. The orange label band names it Oxyde d'Or, Oxidgold and Oxido Dorado, with a Series 1 mark above. Painters reach for colours like this for autumn foliage, pumpkins, fox fur, rusty tin effects, sunset glows and warm grounds under folk art, where it gives a cosy, sunlit feel.
Gold Oxide brings warmth without the brightness of a pure orange, which keeps autumn schemes looking natural and settled. The 75ml tube suits seasonal projects and weekly classes alike, and its compact form makes it easy to carry alongside your other earth colours.
Combine Gold Oxide with reds and browns from acrylic paints, add canvases from art paper and canvas, and keep palettes and water pots ready from painting accessories.
