Turners Yellow for Warm Golden Light
This 250ml bottle of Jo Sonja's Turners Yellow is a warm golden yellow for sunflowers, sunsets and glowing light.
Turners Yellow shows a rich, warm golden yellow in the swatch photo, suited to sunflower petals, sunset glows and the centres of daisies. Printed under the Artists' Colours heading for Turners Yellow are Series 1, ASTM 1 and, for Turners Yellow, the pigment codes PY.74LF:PY.42:PW.6. 250ml of Turners Yellow suits bigger works than a tube.
Warm yellows give designs a sunny feel, and this golden tone keeps flowers and skies glowing without the cool edge of a lemon yellow. Golden yellow also brings warmth to harvest scenes, honey pots, bees and cheerful kitchen signs and canisters.
Turners Yellow petals paint cleanly with a round or filbert from craft paint brushes. Greens for leaves and browns for sunflower centres are in acrylic paints, and canvas and art paper give a ready surface.
