Violet Acrylic in a Bulk Bottle for Twilight Skies and Shadows

Chromacryl Violet in the 2 litre size gives art rooms a deep blue-violet for skies, flowers and shadow work.

The swatch beside the bottle is a deep blue-violet, close to indigo in the heavy stroke and a softer purple where it is brushed thin. Students use violet for twilight skies, grapes, lavender, irises and cool shadows on snow. The bottle is a deep purple with a white cap. Reading down its label you see Est. 1965, then Chromacryl, then medium bodied, students acrylic, and finally the word Violet.

Purple is popular with younger painters, and a 2 litre jug saves topping up from small tubes. The built-in carry handle makes pouring from a full bottle easier to control, and the cap reseals the jug so the supply keeps on the art room shelf between lessons.

A twilight or floral painting unit needs more than one jug. Add other acrylic paint colours, soft craft brushes for petals and art paper for practice work before students move to final pieces.
