Deep blue-violet for night scenes, grapes and shadows
Chromacryl Violet is a deep, blue-leaning purple, a strong pick for night scenes, grapes, irises, jacaranda trees and shadowed areas.
Purple is one of the secondary colours students learn early, and a ready-made violet helps classes paint it cleanly from the first lesson. This litre bottle is labelled Violet, in mixed case rather than the capitals used on most of the range. In the product photos the bottle looks a royal blue-violet, deeper than the lilac Pastel Violet.
The swatch shows a deep purple that turns lighter and bluer when thin, giving students plenty of range for flowers and night skies. Buying a litre means jacaranda paintings, purple monster characters and colour wheel charts can all come from the one bottle across a term.
Add Magenta and the blues from our acrylic paints, collect painting accessories such as palettes, and browse educational supplies for the rest of the classroom order, from exercise books to display materials.
