Deep Blue Violet for Night and Shadow
Chromacryl Violet is a deep blue violet for students painting twilight skies, grapes, irises, shadows and fantasy scenes.
Purples add drama to night scenes and flowers, and a ready-made tube saves time in a busy lesson. The swatch in the product photo is a deep, dark blue violet where thick that brightens to a clearer purple where brushed thinly. Chroma prints Violet on a purple label band of this 75ml tube, and the white lower half names it a medium bodied students' acrylic.
Keeping a personal violet means a student can return to the same purple across a long project. The tube travels well in a pencil case, and the purple label band is distinct from the blue tubes so it is quick to find.
See every colour in acrylic paints, choose classroom canvas boards for night scenes, and browse painting accessories for palette trays and brush holders. Broader art and craft supplies are available for mixed media work too.
