Punchy Orange-Red Vermillion for Bold Work

Chroma Atelier Interactive Vermillion packs 250ml of a punchy orange-red into a studio jar for poppies, posters and bold abstract canvases.

Vermillion is printed plainly on the front band, with the cursive Atelier logo above it and Interactive Artists' Acrylic in between. The hero swatch shows a warm, punchy orange-red, and the brush-out leans scarlet with soft coral edges where the paint runs thin. It suits poppy fields, red rooftops, lanterns, sports and festival imagery, and the strong red shapes of graphic abstract painting.

Bold reds often fill big flat areas in contemporary work, so this 250ml Vermillion jar is a practical size. Knife it straight from the broad opening onto a large palette, keep going without reordering mid-project, and screw the black lid tight afterwards.

Build out a warm palette around Vermillion from our acrylic paints collection, add knives and palettes from painting accessories, and choose AI17450 surfaces in art paper and canvas.

FAQs

AI17450 is a single 250ml jar of Vermillion, and nothing else is packed with this vermillion.
Vermillion photographs as a warm, punchy orange-red in the hero shot. The AI17450 brush-out image leans scarlet-orange and softens to coral where the brush runs thin. Allow for some difference between monitors.
Artists' Acrylic is the description printed on the Vermillion jar. The narrow column of text on its side cannot be read in our photos, so we make no pigment or rating statement for AI17450.
Vermillion falls in Series 2. Among the warm reds in this group, AI17450 is in a lower price band than Napthol Crimson or Pyrrole Red (Series 3) and the Series 4 cadmium reds.
