Clean Lemon-Leaning Yellow for Sunlit Passages

Atelier Interactive Trans Yellow from Chroma brings 250ml of a clean, lemon-leaning yellow to painters lighting up sunlit fields, flowers and skies.

Printed on the jar as Transparent Yellow, this colour sits in the Atelier Interactive line and carries the Artists' Acrylic wording beneath. The hero swatch photographs as a clean sunny yellow with a gentle lemon lean, while the brush-out image shows a sharper acid yellow. Daffodils, wattle, canola fields, sunlight striking a wall and bright graphic panels all play to its strengths.

Yellow passages on a large canvas can need a surprising amount of paint, and a 250ml jar of Transparent Yellow handles that comfortably. The wide neck makes it simple to load a big brush, and the screw-top lid keeps the colour clean between days.

Find warm and cool partners for Transparent Yellow in our acrylic paints range, pick brushes from craft paint brushes, and source canvas for AI17300 projects from art paper and canvas or painting supplies.

FAQs

One AI17300 jar holding 250ml of Trans Yellow. Brushes for this transparent yellow are sold separately.
In the AI17300 hero image, Transparent Yellow is a clean, sunny yellow with a slight lemon lean. The second photo, a brush-out, reads as a sharper acid yellow. Only two images exist for this jar, and screens can vary.
Chroma describes Transparent Yellow on the label as an Artists' Acrylic. Fine print on the jar side is outside what our AI17300 images show clearly, so no pigment detail is quoted here.
The distributor lists Transparent Yellow as Series 2, the same band as Vermillion and the phthalo colours. Yellows in Series 3 and 4, like the arylamides and cadmiums, cost more than AI17300.
