Rusty Brick Red Oxide in a 250ml Jar

Chroma Atelier Interactive Trans Red Oxide offers 250ml of a rusty brick-red earth for landscapes, terracotta and warm skin shadows on larger works.

The label gives the full name Transparent Red Oxide, printed under the Interactive logo with Artists' Acrylic below. In the photographed swatch it reads as a rusty red-brown that turns coppery wherever the brush thins it over canvas. The brush-out swatch shows deep brick red easing towards salmon, a range that fits red desert country, old brickwork, autumn leaves and the warm shadows of a portrait.

Earthy reds often anchor a whole outback palette, so a 250ml jar of Red Oxide is practical for painters covering big ground. Dip a broad brush into the wide jar mouth, scrape back with a knife, and close the black screw lid between sessions.

Pair Red Oxide with other Atelier earths in our acrylic paints collection. Brushes for AI17120 are in craft paint brushes, palettes sit in painting accessories, and larger surfaces wait in art paper and canvas.

FAQs

Just the AI17120 jar, holding 250ml of Trans Red Oxide. No brushes or palettes come with this red oxide.
Red Oxide shows in the hero swatch as a rusty red-brown with a coppery cast where thin. The AI17120 brush-out image moves from deep brick red through terracotta to a soft salmon. These are photos of painted swatches, so screens may shift the tone a little.
The Red Oxide jar is labelled Artists' Acrylic beneath the Atelier Interactive banner. Anything beyond that, such as pigment content, would need reading from the side label in person, as our AI17120 photos are not sharp enough.
Series 2 is listed for Red Oxide. If you are building an earth palette on a budget, note that Raw Umber (Yellowish) sits in Series 1, while AI17120 is one step higher.
