Deep Teal Turquoise in a Studio-Sized Jar

Atelier Interactive Phthalo Turquoise from Chroma gives you 250ml of a dark sea-green teal, sized for painters working tropical water and glassy greens at scale.

Printed on the front as Pthalo Turquoise, this colour carries the Atelier Interactive name and the Artists' Acrylic line beneath it. The photographed swatch is dark teal, almost black when thick, with a sea-green glow wherever the canvas weave shows through. The brush-out runs from emerald teal to a pale mint, which suits reef shallows, bottle glass, peacock feathers and stylised foliage.

Turquoise often becomes the backbone colour of a seascape, and a 250ml jar means you can block in a full ocean without rationing. Phthalo Turquoise lifts out with a knife from the broad jar mouth, and the black screw lid closes back down between painting days.

Pair Phthalo Turquoise with blues and greens from our acrylic paints collection. Palettes and knives for the AI16640 jar are in painting accessories, with surfaces in art paper and canvas and brushes under craft paint brushes.

FAQs

AI16640 is a single 250ml jar of Phthalo Turquoise, and nothing else is packed with this phthalo turquoise.
Our hero photo shows Phthalo Turquoise as a dark teal that is close to black where thick and a glowing sea green where thin. A second swatch image runs from emerald teal to a light mint turquoise. Monitor settings can shift how it appears.
The front of the AI16640 jar calls it an Artists' Acrylic. We cannot read the narrow side text in our images, so pigment codes and ratings for Phthalo Turquoise are left off this page.
Series 2 is the price band for Phthalo Turquoise in the distributor list. It shares that price with the other Series 2 jars, such as Phthalo Blue (Red Shade), while higher series cost more than AI16640.
