This Chroma Atelier 1 litre bottle, listed as Gloss Medium and Varnish, is a high-shine final coat for anyone varnishing many acrylic works.

The bottle in our photo is labelled Gloss Varnish under the Atelier Traditional mark, sized 1 Litre (33.8 US fl oz). Part of its side panel links the current Gloss Varnish name to Gloss Medium and Varnish. Varnishing tips on that panel include shaking the bottle gently, doing a test area first, waiting for the painting to be ready, applying an isolation coat beforehand and not over-brushing.

A litre lasts through a long run of canvases, exhibition pieces or a whole class's finished boards without reordering. The side panel adds that it can be mixed with acrylic paint or medium to dilute the paint and increase gloss, so one bottle can also serve as a gloss additive.
