Cadmium Yellow Light Free Flow Artists' Acrylic, 60ml
Cadmium Yellow Light is a bright lemon yellow for lemons, daffodils, spring light and crisp highlights.
The swatch shows a clean lemon yellow at full strength and a pale cream where the paint is spread thin. The label on this lemon yellow reads Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic. This bright lemon is Series 4, marked semi-transparent. Pigment for this lemon yellow: PY.35. Lightfastness for this lemon yellow: ASTM 1. The bright lemon shows British Woolscale 8:8:8. Kadmiumgelb Hell (German), Jaune de Cadmium Clair (French) and Amarillo Cadmio Claro (Spanish) also appear.
The 60ml light cadmium yellow bottle is a compact studio and travel size for lemons, daffodils and small spring studies. Marked semi-transparent, the bright lemon gives part cover, so earlier layers soften under the lemon yellow. The flip-top cap gives small squeezes of the lemon yellow.
Build a palette around this lemon yellow from the acrylic paint range. Lay in lemons using brushes, and paint the bright lemon onto canvas and art paper. Keep the lemon yellow kit tidy with palettes and painting accessories.
