Chroma Atelier Free Flow Cadmium Red Medium, 60ml Bottle
Cadmium Red Medium is a deep cherry red for cherries, red barns, roses and rich warm shadows.
Its swatch shows a strong, slightly brick-leaning cherry red that lightens to a soft pink where the paint is thinned. Cadmium Red Medium wears the Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic banner. This deep cherry is Series 4, with the opaque symbol. Pigment listed for this cherry red: PR.108. Cadmium Red Medium lightfastness: ASTM 1. The deep cherry shows British Woolscale 8:8:8. Other names for this cherry red: Kadmiumrot Mittel, Rouge de Cadmium Moyen, Rojo de Cadmio Mediano.
The 60ml medium cadmium red bottle is a handy studio and travel size for fruit, florals and small cherry-toned studies. The deep cherry carries the filled opaque dot, for covering earlier cherry red work. This cherry red squeezes out through a black flip-top cap.
This cherry red sits naturally beside other acrylic colours. Thin the deep cherry with painting mediums, brush cherries with brushes, and paint the cherry red onto canvas and art paper.
