Chroma Atelier Free Flow Cadmium Yellow Light, 250ml Bottle
Cadmium Yellow Light in the 250ml bottle suits painters who cover large daffodil fields, lemon groves and bright spring skies.
On the swatch card the light cadmium yellow is a crisp, cool lemon, easing to a pale cream at the dry edge. At 250ml, this lemon yellow keeps the Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic heading. This lemon yellow is Series 4 and semi-transparent. The bright lemon carries pigment PY.35. Lemon yellow lightfastness: ASTM 1. This lemon yellow shows British Woolscale 8:8:8. Code AT13370 prints 8.4 US fl oz on the lemon yellow bottle.
At 250ml there is plenty of this citrus lemon for large spring scenes and bright backgrounds on bigger canvases. Semi-transparent by its label, the bright lemon partly covers, and the lemon yellow lets some underlayer show. Larger squeezes of the lemon yellow come from the black flip-top cap.
Big lemon yellow projects, such as lemons, draw on other acrylic colours. For the bright lemon, wide paint brushes cover canvases and paper; the lemon yellow session stays organised with painting accessories.
