Pyrrole Red ink for bright, warm reds and pinks

Chroma Atelier Pyrrole Red is a bright, warm red acrylic ink in a 60ml dropper bottle for bold colour in illustration and design.

The bottle names its colour, PYRROLE RED, in a silver strip near the shoulder, with Atelier and Artists' Pigmented Inks underneath. The bottle shows a vivid orange-leaning red. Our swatch has a bright, warm red along its upper edge that softens into pink lower down where the stroke thins, giving a good idea of its range from full strength to tint. The label marks the capacity as 60ml.

A clean warm red does a lot of work in a small kit. Use it for lips, poppies, berries and signage, punchy poster shapes and lettering, or thin it right back for blush tones and soft pink washes without opening a second colour.

Bright colour work pairs well with smooth paper from art paper and canvas, flat and round brushes from our paint brush range, and other inks and palettes from painting supplies.
