Phthalo Blue ink for strong, cool blues in illustration

Chroma Atelier Phthalo Blue is a strong, cool blue acrylic ink in a 60ml dropper bottle for illustrators and mixed media artists.

On the bottle the colour is spelled PTHALO BLUE, while our listing uses the more common Phthalo spelling. The label keeps the familiar Atelier layout with Artists' Pigmented Inks under the logo. The liquid shows a deep navy blue through the bottle, and the brushed swatch in our second image shows a strong, clean mid blue. Size is marked as 60ml, 2 US fl oz.

An intense blue covers a lot of ground in an ink palette. Use it full strength for bold graphic shapes, posters and cartoon colouring, or thin it on the brush for denim, deep water and evening shadows. A little goes onto the palette at a time through the dropper.

Complete a colour ink kit with brushes from our paint brush range, heavy paper from art paper and canvas, and other colours and tools from painting supplies.
